Amy joined Burley Geach in 2017 as a receptionist in the Haslemere office, before moving into the Accounts Department where she handled day-to-day client transactions. She also supported the accounts manager with payroll and month end processes.
In 2022, Amy left the firm to broaden her experience in practice management and compliance at a Guildford firm, before returning to Burley Geach in 2025 as Legal Compliance Officer.
Amy’s role focuses on the firm’s compliance matters, including policies and procedures, supporting aspects of client onboarding, and helping to implement new software and platforms. She works closely with the Practice Manager and Managing Partner and with her previous experience can assist on wider projects outside the scope of legal compliance.
Alongside her work, Amy has completed several qualifications, including AAT Level 2 Bookkeeping and the ILFM Legal Finance Compliance & Accounts Rules and Legal Practice Management. With almost 10 years’ experience in law firms, Amy has worked across a variety of areas and takes a genuine interest in continuing to build her knowledge.
